CONGRATS to the 2010 Elite boys & Coach Jamile Green
by posted 10/09/2018

They captured their first tournament championship at the 2018 EDP Fall Classic with back-to-back wins over a loaded Torpedoes SC side. Noah Hanke led the squad from central midfield, commanding the field with his typical calm and vision and thundering home goals with his lethal left foot. Journey Green and Brendan Brady brought their unmatched speed and deft ball handling to the games, securing timely goals and harassing the opponent on goalie distributions and goal kicks. Evan Cies, the squad's pint-sized steam-roller, left up-ended opponents in his wake, found the net, and saved a crucial penalty between the posts. Marcos Rios and Rider Davidson anchored the defense, frustrating opposing attackers with physical play and distributing up the flanks under heavy pressure. Kaeden Liu balanced dominating shifts in goal with notable performances at defense, employing disarming closing speed to shut down attacks. Logan Turner served shifts as a vocal and confident goalkeeper, soared up the wings, and added a blistering long-goal to cap the championship game. And Ethan O'Shea, heroically playing on a sprained ankle, added two clutch goals in a crucial game and ranged the field despite his hobble. A fine finish for a team coming into its own. #FCEuropa#BreakingGrounds #EDP #FallClassic #TorpedosSC
