U8 Player Development Academy (PDA)

TEYSA is again pleased to provide details regarding its U8 Player Development Academy (PDA).

The PDA is a program designed for boys and girls born during the 2009 calendar year who want to improve their soccer skills through professional training and competitive play this winter and early spring and get a feel for what travel soccer is like before they become eligible to try-out for FC EUROPA soccer program next spring.

While this U8 PDA program does not guarantee a place on any 2017/18 FC EUROPA teams, it will certainly better prepare players and their families for the FC EUROPA experience.

  • Registration for tryouts is required. There is no fee for tryouts

  • Participation in an indoor travel league at YSC Sports starting in January.  While YSC has not yet posted the details for this league, in the past it has included one game per week on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with an 8-game schedule.

  • The boys program will be run Barry Davey, and the girls program by Wayne Canfield, both of whom are the current Academy Directors for the FC Europa.
  • These exceptional coaches and their staff will bring a high level of energy and a wealth of soccer knowledge to the program.

The total cost for the program is $395 which includes a uniform, all professional training and coaching described above, tournament fees, indoor travel league fees, and field and facility fees.
